Maslon LLP is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing Labor & Employment Group. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience advising employers on California employment law, including wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, accommodations, employee classification, workplace policies, and pay practices, and litigating employment-related litigation claims in California state and federal courts. This attorney should be comfortable partnering directly with clients to proactively identify risk, resolve workplace disputes, and achieve practical, business-focused outcomes.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in California. This position offers flexibility for candidates to work fully remote. For candidates located in Minnesota, a hybrid arrangement is also available, with three days per week in Maslon’s downtown office. Some travel will be required.
The salary range for this position is $225,000-325,000, dependent on years of experience. We will consider applicants for part-time employment, in which case salary will be prorated accordingly. Applicants with partial books of business will be considered, with negotiable compensation.
